The Academic Success Center (ASC) aims to reinforce course concepts and advance academic achievement by providing quality tutoring and support services to currently enrolled Broward College students at no extra cost. The ASCs accomplish this by working closely with Academic Pathways, faculty, and students to create various tutoring resources. Our support services range from certified tutoring to facilitated group study sessions, exam reviews, collaborative spaces, and reserve materials.
The South Campus ASC's tutoring services include introductory and advanced Math and Science, Writing, English as a Second Language, Reading, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Modern Foreign Language, Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE) support, and select nursing concept support.
The ASC is a proud member of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) and the Florida College Learning Center Association (FCLCA), and our tutors are trained professionals dedicated to contributing to a legacy of student success.
Hours of Operation (Fall and Spring Terms)
Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Math Lab Only)
