Participants will review current theory, as well as contribute their own ideas on best practices for "making learning happen." Applying active learning principles, the class will identify learning strategies and model classroom techniques. There will be discussion of applications of a learning approach to assessment, evaluation/feedback, lectures, tutorials, group work, print materials, web sites and teaching portfolios.
