Our curriculum offers learners a theoretical approach to important ophthalmic concepts. The program’s curriculum is composed of a didactic (hands on skills) followed by directed clinical training at our college’s on- site clinic. Students will also be exposed to off- site affiliated ophthalmic practices.

Application for the vision care program are accepted throughout the year; however students are admitted into the vision care program in August of each year. Students are encouraged to complete any remedial course work before entering the program. Students are encouraged to complete math co- requsites before entering the program to ensure mastery of program course work. Pre-health core requirements should be complete before program entry.
