The Criminal Justice Testing Center at BCC
The Criminal Justice Testing Center located at the Institute of Public Safety, Broward College, Davie Campus, is a regional assessment center serving law enforcement agencies in South Florida.
The CJ Testing Center is NOT a hiring agency, it is a testing center for persons who wish to apply for law enforcement positions in Broward County. Taking the tests is a necessary part of a person’s job application process with local police departments.
The following tests are administered by the CJ Testing Center in cooperation with the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association: Test of Adult Basic Education (T.A.B.E.), the Florida Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (C.J.B.A.T.), the Basic Motor Skills Test (AGILITY), and the Swim Test. Study guides for the CJ BAT and the TABE are available for purchase at the Broward College Bookstore, Davie Campus, Bldg. 19, and may also be available at commercial bookstores, public libraries or through internet sites.
