Technology has drastically changed the creative process. Graphic designers today must know how to create captivating images, logos and visual layouts for a broad range of mediums, from print to television to mobile apps.
With a focus on new and emerging technology, BC’s two-year Graphic Design Technology program will prepare you for successful entry into the rapidly changing, highly competitive computer graphics design industry. Our program will give you a professional edge in such key areas as:
Using computer software to efficiently design new images or modify existing ones
Solving real-world advertising problems and carrying projects from concept to completion
Employing the full range of print, web and electronic media to create art that meets client needs
Analyzing client needs, conducting research and developing concepts for production within a budget
In two years, you will be ready to get a job after having real-world training in practical technique. We are always current with the latest trends in design. In fact, we were the first institution to have classes in photography, web design, and now, iPad interactive design.
