Just two years...and you’ll be a highly-trained, highly sought after marine technician qualified for immediate job placement.
Yes, and that’s a major reason you should consider this program. We don't just give out diplomas - we give out degrees. After just two years, you can receive your Associate of Applied Science degree in Marine Engineering Management.
We are currently accepting new students for our day and evening classes for the next term.
For the 2015-2016 school year, the tuition is $113.50 per credit hour. The total two-year tuition would be approximately $7,491. Fees and books are additional. All students are encouraged to apply for federal financial aid and scholarships. Many students qualify for scholarships, grants or federal loans.
Every BC Marine Engineering Management Program student is required to serve an internship with a local marine company, where they will receive additional hands-on experience under the supervision of a master technician.
If selected, most employers pay their interns.
Getting a foot in the door at any marine operation is a great way to create an ongoing employment opportunity for yourself if the employer feels you're a good fit.
Many marine companies look to our program for well-trained technicians. With your academic and marine training, and the major shortage of trained marine technicians, you can expect to be in high demand. Also, we have partnered with The Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF), who assists our students in finding internships and job opportunities.
