Carl Andrietta enters his ninth year as assistant coach at BCC. His responsibilities include assisting in all baseball operations and coordinating all recruiting. Andrietta brings 30 years of coaching experience with Miami-Dade and Broward county high schools. Andrietta’s coaching experience began in 1978, where he served as assistant coach for six seasons at Miramar High School. In 1984, Andrietta was named head coach at Miramar and directed the program for eight seasons. Other coaching stints include serving as assistant coach at South Broward High School from 1992-1994 along with being assistant coach at Monsignor Edward Pace High School from 1995-1999. He also has coached several leagues, including American Legion, Connie Mack, Big League and Amateur Athletic Union summer league teams. Andrietta currently is on the staff of Team One Baseball. Carl is married to the former Elizabeth O’Bier. He and his wife are the parents of daughters, Shawn and Melissa, and granddaughters, Chloe and Chelsea.
