Coach Macnamara enters his second year on Coach Deutschman’s staff and first year assuming the role as the pitching coach. He has had three other stints as pitching coach in his career. The first came at Oviedo High School from 1995 to 1999. After there he ventured to Lyman High School from 2000 to 2001. In 2001 he made his debut in the college ranks as pitching coach on Bob Rikeman at Rollins College. He stated there till 2003 and then eventually joined the Seahawks in the fall of 2006. Coach Macnamara is an alumnus and former baseball pitcher for the BCC Seahawks who did his undergrad (Physical Education, ’93) and graduate (Education, ’95) work at University of Central Florida. Burgess is currently teaching within the Physical Science department. Coach Macnamara is single and resides in Plantation.
