Each manufacturer program provides the latest vehicles, equipment and training certification to prepare students for the rapidly advancing technology found on all new vehicles. What Is Taught In These Programs?

Students will receive their automotive technical training at the designated Technical Center, during the daytime. Required academic classes will be scheduled during the evening at BC. Students will be interviewed and selected by a sponsoring dealership and will receive technical training with a scheduled internship that includes, paid work experience at the dealership.

Students will receive instruction on the latest corporate products, including:

• Automotive Electrical/Electronic Systems
• Engine Repair
• Engine Performance
• Manual Drive Train and Axles
• Automatic Transmission/Transaxles
• Advanced Brake Systems
• Steering and Suspension Systems
• Heating and Air Conditioning
• Advanced Engine Performance & Computer Engine Control
• Specific corporate factory training certification

At Broward College, general education courses will include:

• Applied Mathematics (or higher)
• Humanities/Fine Arts Elective
• English Composition
• Speech
• Psychology (Social Science Elective)
• Computer Science Elective
