Aviation Students Financial Aid

Financial aid help from federal, state and institutional sources offered to students in the form of grants scholarships, work programs and loans. If you qualify for financial aid, you can expect to receive an award that will be a combination of all forms of aid. If you apply early, you can expect to receive the maximum amount of financial assistance that Broward College has to offer you. All financial aid information, guides and application/forms are available on the web at http://www.broward.edu/sfs/

Because flight training can be very costly, you are urged to apply primarily for “free money”, investigate work-study opportunities, and finally loans. Students should also check with their employer for a reimbursement plan. Some companies may pay the entire cost of tuition, books, supplies and flight time. BC is committed to assisting you in finding necessary funds to complete your flight training without incurring unreasonable debt. A good source of information is the student gateway to the U.S. government at http://www.students.gov/STUGOVWebApp/Public
