Campus Life - Buehler Planetarium and Observatory
The Broward College Buehler Planetarium is a state of the art facility with a larger than normal 40 foot dome, using a Zeiss Star Projector. Presentations are available for free for staff, faculty and students of Broward College. The Public is welcome to attend with affordable pricing options (see below).
The Broward College Observatory is free to all! With cooperating weather, our telescope will let you see stars, nebulae and the moon with unparalleled detail. Night observing is available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (8-10 PM), with daytime (solar) observation available on Wednesday (1-3 PM).

- Planetarium and Observatory is available to the general public.
- Observatory viewings are always free.
- Planetarium shows are free for staff/faculty/students of Broward College.
- Show times generally run about 1 hour in length.
- Shows are geared towards the time of year.
- Planetarium and Observatory are always open, no matter what the weather.
- The moon is only visible with the Observatory in clear weather, depending on the moon position in the sky.
