Since we first opened our doors in 1960, Broward College has firmly stood by our mission to provide a high-quality education that is affordable and accessible to all. During these last 50 years, we have also considered ourselves a partner in the community, as we have always believed that together we can make our county a better place through education and community service.
We are extremely proud to have supported over 300 individual organizations both locally and nationally these last several years. Our faculty and staff continue to be heavily involved in professional associations and we continue to partner with organizations that help drive economic development in our county. In addition, Broward College has supported numerous organizations that focus on education, health and human services, and leadership development, to name a few.
More importantly, our faculty and staff continue to serve on numerous boards and committees and have volunteered thousands of hours. They have also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for scholarships for our students as well as for charities across Broward County.
As we look towards the next 50 years, we want to better serve the needs of our community. We have streamlined our process so that we may not only serve our nonprofit and community partners better, but also measure the impact we are having in our community. We are asking our valued community partners to review our Partnership Guidelines to get an understanding of the College’s priorities and application process. If your organization meets our guidelines, we encourage you to fill out our sponsorship application. We look forward to working with you and making our community a better place to live and work.
