Under the direction of the Executive Director for Human Resources & Equity, Anthony manages employee relations issues and is responsible for investigating EEO complaints to include interviewing witnesses, interprets College policies, local, state and federal rules and regulations related to Equal Employment Opportunity ("EEO") matters. Employee Spotlight: Deborah-Czubkowski
Deborah Czubkowski, District Director of Design and Construction holds a BS in Building Construction, a MS in Project Management and is a licensed General Contractor for the State of Florida. She has over 20 years' experience in both the private and public sector. Deborah joined Broward College in 2008 as a construction project manager for Central Campus in the Facilities Management Department. Read more .


 

Employee Spotlight: Marielena DeSanctis

Marielena joined the Broward College family in April 2014 as the Vice President of Student Affairs & Enrollment. In this role, she provides leadership to the district Registrar’s Office; Financial Aid; and the district departments of Disability Services, Athletics, Student Life, Title IX, Policy, and Enrollment Management. Employee Spotlight: Sean Devaney
Sean Devaney serves as District Director of Maintenance. Mr. Devaney oversight responsibilities for campus facilities, fleet services, locksmith services, EMS/HVAC, electrical services, landscape, and contract services. The facilities maintenance department is responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of college-wide buildings, landscape and infrastructure

Employee Spotlight: John Dunnuck

Mr. Dunnuck I has been with Broward College for four years in his current position as the Vice-President for Operations. Previously, Mr. Dunnuck worked seven years for the South Florida Water Management District and managed the Everglades Restoration Program, which was a 2 billion dollar Initiative. Read more.

Under the leadership of the Campus President, James serves as chief student affairs officer for a diverse campus population of approximately 14,000 students.  He is responsible for the administration, evaluation, and implementation of student support programs and services provided by a diverse staff employed in the departments of advisement, student success, career services, admissions, registration, testing, and student life and development.  Read more.

Adriana Fazzano serves as Special Assistant to the President at Broward College. Ms. Fazzano is responsible for a wide range of matters of institutional importance and for the coordination of designated functions of the Office of the President, including but not limited to: assisting in providing leadership and direction for strategic planning and change management initiatives. Employee Spotlight: Carlos Parra
Carlos Parra, Director of Student Life – South Campus. Carlos works to create genuine and meaningful student engagement opportunities for the students of South Campus. Employee Spotlight: Dr. Deborah Posner

Dr. Posner leads the College's institutional effectiveness (IE) and strategic planning cycles; ensures alignment of all goals and initiatives with the Strategic Plan, Mission, and State Performance Funding Model; provides guidance to all units in defining outcomes, assessing those outcomes, and using their findings to inform future decision-making, benchmarking, and budget; and promotes a college-wide culture of evidence to increase student success.  Read more.

 Employee Spotlight: Miguel Ramirez

Miguel Ramirez began working for Broward College in July of 2007. In his role as the Associate Director of Institutional Events, Miguel oversees project management of college-sponsored events. His responsibilities include event planning and supporting institutional special events, such as, building dedications, groundbreaking ceremonies, art exhibits, community events, and dignitary visits. Zaida Riollano, Interim AVP for Business Services and Resource Management. Zaida is a Graduate of Brooklyn College and a native of Puerto Rico. She had the honor to participate in Broward College’s Presidential Leadership Academy, the program focused on leadership at all levels in the organization.  Read more.

 

 


Employee Spotlight: Matthew Rocco

Matthew Rocco, serves as Coordinator of Corporate Training for the Institute of Economic Development. Mr. Rocco started out as a faculty member in the Business Administration Department at Broward College and then served in other leadership positions, such as Associate Dean of Business Administration at Central Campus and Chairperson of the Quality Enhancement Plan from 2012 through 2013. Employee Spotlight: Dr. George A. Stalliard, Sr.

Dr. George Stalliard is the Dean of Business Affairs of the 120 acres, environmentally friendly North Campus, in the county’s northern end. As the Dean of Business Affairs, serving over 12,000 students, he is primarily responsible for assisting the Campus President in managing the $24,000,000 operating budget, which includes Perkins Funds, Grants and Contracts Administration. Marjorie Stanbury, Event Coordinator at Bailey Hall.  Ms. Stanbury, job is to take care of the needs of all clients who book the facility for an event; to ensure that they have the optimal experience from the initial visit, to signing the contract to presenting their event and through to their last guest walking out the door. In addition to taking care of all the clients booking Bailey Hall for their events. John Thornton, Dean of Business Affairs, Central Campus is proud to have an Associate’s degree in Administration of Justice from Delaware County Community College in Pennsylvania.  He attended Widener University for his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and West Chester University of Pennsylvania for his MBA.
