Project Overview: 
Review the viability alliance of BCC Job Placement with Workforce needs by studying the actual process of student placement and making recommendations to increase such placement as to meet Perkins requirements;
" Explore options of Internships that will improve students employability skills leading to job placement;
" Review the actual Internships, Co-ops, Practicum etc offered at BCC
" Review tracking system for internships & job placement
" Review relationship between job developers and faculty
" Review interaction between Career Center and Tech Ed Job Developers

Business Goals:
1. Improve Tech Ed services by increasing the number of staff assisting these students
2. Increase in field placement by 2% for Tech Ed Degree Programs & 5% for PSAVs
3. Create Tech Education Student Success Centers
4. Develop additional articulation agreements with local Technical schools
5. Increase Technology based classes with online and blended classes

Success Factors:
Ö Meet Tech Ed students needs
Ö Maintain low expenditure of funds by providing current BCC staff with Perkins stipend
Ö Increase funding for Tech Ed by meeting Perkins requirements
Ö Increase enrollment of the Tech Ed Programs as a result of student in field placement increase
Ö Increase college success rates (i.e. completers, higher GPA, in field placement etc) through the implementation of the Technical Education Student Success Center
Ö Satisfy local workforce demands
Ö Improve students satisfaction by providing convenient courses and registration services
Ö Increase community awareness of BCCs Tech Ed programs
Ö Improve BCCs image within the local community
