Proposal Preparation Tips
1. PRIOR TO DEVELOPING COURSE OUTLINE(S), PROGRAM SHEET(S), OR COMPLETING ANY FORM(S) NECESSARY FOR A CURRICULUM PROPOSAL, PLEASE CONTACT (E-MAIL, MEMO, FACE-TO-FACE, etc.) YOUR COLLEGEWIDE DISCIPLINE COUNTERPARTS TO DISCUSS YOUR PROPOSAL AND TO SEEK INPUT. ALL CURRICULUM PROPOSALS ARE A 'COLLEGWIDE' IMPLEMENTATION, NOT A CAMPUS IMPLEMENTATION.
2. When completing the Articulation Form, please group ALL RELATED TRANSACTIONS (new course, course revision, new program, program revision, etc.) on the SAME form.
3. If you need a Word version of a course outline for modifications, please contact the Office of Curriculum Services (see Contact Us menu item at left) and we will forward a copy by e-mail attachment.
4. All necessary forms are available through this web site (see Forms menu item at left).
5. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Depending on the accuracy of the completed forms for your proposal, some or all of the paperwork may be returned to you due to lack of completeness and/or errors. If necessary revisions to your proposal cannot be completed in a timely manner to process, post to the web site, and give proper agenda/meeting notice to Curriculum Committee members and BCC faculty/administrators, your proposal will be posted as new business to the subsequent month's agenda. Please start your proposal drafting early and contact the Office of Curriculum Services (Contact Us), if necessary.
