Degrees and Programs

Broward College now offers selected degrees and certificates completely online. In addition, students can satisfy their general education and many program-specific requirements through e-Learning. Use the links below to see the online degrees and certificates that Broward College offers, and to find a list of courses you can take online to complete the program. Note that e-Learning program codes end with an "E" indicating that all or a majority of courses are taken online. If you are a new student choosing an e-Learning degree, please be sure to use the e-code as your selected degree code. If you are a current student who has been taking all or almost all your classes online, you should speak to your advisor about changing your program code to the e-code equivalent.

ONLINE PROGRAMS

	Associate of Arts Degree		Associate of Applied Science Degree
The AA degree comprises the first two years of a four-year degree. Students who complete an AA degree at BC are guaranteed admission to the Florida public university of their choice. The required courses for the following AA degree programs are currently online: AA Accounting - 1085E AA Business Administration - 1007E AA Criminal Justice - 1065E AA Elementary Education - 1014E (Note: Elem Educ requires field experience in a school in addition to coursework.) AA English - 1017E AA Liberal Arts - 1057E AA Pre Law - 1031E		The AAS is 2-year degree for students who want to work in a specialized career field upon graduation. Students can complete the following AAS degrees fully online at BC: AAS Accounting Technology - A001E AAS Business Administration - A032E
	Associate of Science Degree		Certificate Programs
The AS degree is a 2-year degree for students who want to work in a high demand career field with guaranteed job skills upon graduation. Students can complete the following AS degrees fully online at BC: AS Accounting Technology - 2100E AS Business Administration - 2119E		The Certificate Program is a quick, comprehensive training for students who want immediate entry into a hot job market upon certificate completion. Students can complete the following certificates online at BC: Accounting Applications certificate - 6214E Business Management certificate - 6267E Business Specialist certificate - 6288E Office Specialist certificate - 6280E
BLENDED PROGRAMS In addition to the programs above which can be taken fully online, the following programs are offered in a blended format where some of the program requirements can be taken online and some face-to-face. Associate of Science Degree AS Nursing - 21271 AS Professional Pilot Technology - 2107 AS Automotive Service Management Technology - 21681 Associate of Science Degree AA Social Work - 1120 (Note: all courses in this program can be completed online except science labs.) Teacher Alternative Education FINDING ONLINE COURSES Once you have looked at the list of courses required for the degree you are seeking, go to the Class Schedules page and search for the courses you want to take to see if they are being offered online this term. You can use the Advanced Search feature to limit your results to online courses only, or browse through the list of all sections and look for sections that have red text that says: Special Designators: Flexible Learning: Fully Online Course.
