In all new construction and renovations, BCC is making energy and resource conservation a major consideration. Architects and builders that are versed in green design and construction are selected for projects. The library on South Campus is built to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, and all new construction will strive to meet LEED certification.
