About Facilities Management

 

The Facilities Management Department of Broward Community College is responsible for the administration of the Capital Outlay Program including all new construction, remodeling, renovation, maintenance, and site improvement projects. Included within Facilities Management are the following service areas; Facilities Planning, Design and Construction, Energy Management, Vehicle Maintenance and the College locksmith.

In addition to administering the Capital Outlay Program, Facilities Management has specific responsibilities for maintenance of all HVAC systems college wide; management and maintenance, and cabling and wiring that support the college computer network along with other electrical systems; management of the College Motor Pool; and managing and implementing the College keying systems.
