Managing Your Money

Teacher and students in a classroom.
Financial Literacy is an important component to the overall success of Broward College students and graduates. The Broward College Financial Aid office is committed to providing our students and in fact the community as whole with the necessary information, tools, and awareness to properly navigate student loan repayment, effective debt management, financial planning etc.
To that end we currently offer our Debt Management Workshop, which is available both in person and online, as well as numerous presentations to external entities e.g. high schools and various other community organizations. We also provide hands-on assistance with FAFSA completion both off-site as well as on campus. All sessions are designed to help students and parents achieve a greater understanding of and comfort with financial aid programs, jargon, achieving and maintaining eligibility etc. We provide most of these services to the community without regard to actual attendance at BC.
