Federal Work-Study (FWS)

​The Federal Work study program provides an annual allocation of funds to the College to pay students to work on-campus and at select off-campus sites.  Work study is part-time employment up to 20 hours per week at $9/hour and cannot exceed the student’s eligibility amount.

 

Applying for work study is easy as answering YES to the work study question on your FAFSA. Early and eligible applicants will be offered work-study as part of their financial aid award package. 

  
To Apply:
  1. Must complete all steps Apply for Financial Aid.
  2. Check for a job opening.
  3. Apply for the Federal Student Assistant position available (any campus).
  4. Your work-study eligibility will be verified by financial aid (Maintaining Eligibility is REQUIRED)
    1. Maintain 2.0 GPA
    2. Be degree seeking enrolled in at least 6 credits
  5. Once verified, hiring managers from each campus department will select students to interview from the applications submitted.
