Civic Engagement-Service Learning

The Holcombe Institute promotes Civic Engagement & Academic Service-Learning as one of its initiatives. Academic Service-Learning is a course-based teaching and learning approach that integrates traditional study with community service to enrich learning, teach civic responsibility and strengthen communities. Through research on relevant issues and guided reflection activities students forge practical lifelong connections.
