What is Brain Bowl?
Brain Bowl is an annual academic competition among teams from participating Florida community colleges. Students answer questions from Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Math in a “Jeopardy Style” format. The teams, each consisting of up to five members, first compete in their assigned regions. Winners of the regional tournaments go on to compete in the state tournaments, usually held in February or March. Brain Bowl members also participate in NAQT (National Association of Quiz Tourneys) tournaments and other nationwide college competitions. If you’re good at Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit, Brain Bowl is for you.
