
Women Investigating New Goals and Services (WINGS)
Women Investigating New Goals and Services (WINGS) is a multi-service program providing solutions and support for women in career transition who must pursue independence through education, employment or self-employment.
Free to qualifying participants and offered in English and Spanish, WINGS offers comprehensive career counseling assistance through employability workshops and basic computer literacy classes.
Those who qualify for the program include separated, divorced or widowed homemakers who need a means of support; women whose spouses' disability is putting a strain on their income and relationship; and unemployed or underemployed women lacking confidence and direction to become self-sufficient.
