Information Technology at Broward College relies on a structure of resources supporting six major areas headed by the Vice President for Information Technology: Technology Infrastructure Services, Web Services, Technology Applications & Customer Services, Information Technology Projects & Training and Institutional Research, Planning & Effectiveness. All major areas are responsible for the coordination, integration, and efficient implementation of technology solutions college-wide. The services that we provide are aligned by process, not technology or business unit. This assumes that all technology providers will be staffed and organized to continuously adapt to new technologies, diverse institutional priorities and varying skill set requirements. We have a close working relationship with the Instructional Technology division and facilitate campus computing needs through the Associate Deans of Technology on each major campus.
