BCC employees are not automatically given a NDS account. The following steps must be done. - First you must have an active assignment in CID.
- Then a Computer Network Security Request Form must be completed and signed by the requesting user and their supervisor.
- Next the Fair Use Guidelines & Security Rules & Affidavit must be read and signed by the requesting user.
- These two original documents must then be put in ponies and sent to Information Technology, WHC room 330 to be processed.

If a user has a request for network services please contact your campus Associate Dean of Technology. These steps are for the Associate Deans of Technology to complete: - Requesting network connection repair:
To request a network repair send an e-mail to fsandmai@broward.edu, cc to rcunning@broward.edu, stating the building, room and wall jack number that is defective. The repair request will be added to the repair/install worksheet and sent to Physical Plant which will direct the repair.
- Requesting a single network connection:
To request a new network connection send an e-mail to fsandmai@broward.edu, cc to rcunning@broward.edu, stating the building and room for the new network connection. Please reference a contact person that can provide the installer with further instructions should they be necessary. The installation request will be added to the repair/install worksheet and sent to to Physical Plant which will direct the installation.
- Requesting multiple network connections:
To request multiple installations for a department an e-mail must be sent to fsandmai@broward.edu, cc to rcunning@broward.edu, and to the campus Provost. The Provost must be noted on the e-mail as to insure the Provost is aware that multiple installations could result in the campus being charged for parts and labor. Physical Plant will access the individual situation and determine if a charge will be assessed. Please state the reasons for and the extent of the installations, building and room number along with a contact person that can provide information on the desired installations. The installation request will be added to the repair/install worksheet and sent to to Physical Plant which will direct the installation.
