All requests for telephone service should be submitted through the Helpdesk at x7521 or send an email to helpdesk@broward.edu. Be sure to provide user name, extension, and detailed description of problem or request.

To order new equipment you will need to fill out an AUX (forms can be obtained from Central Receiving). Send completed AUX to College Stores and phone will be delivered directly to your department. Once equipment has been received, submit a Helpdesk request to schedule installation. Item number and information needed for AUX is one of the following:

Item 8006, Black, Cortelco Colleague, 220300-VBA-27S (single line with speaker)

Item 8002, Phone, NEC #780023, ITR-8D, Blk (8 button display IP)

Item 8003, Phone, NEC #780028, ITR-16D, Blk (16 button display IP)

To request a conference call set up provide the date, start and end time of call, and the number of participants that will need to dial into call.

To request a long distance authorization code provide the calling area necessary to make business related calls (ie: tri-county, state, or national.

To request repair, schedule phone move, or voice mail provide user name, extension, building, room number, and description of service requested.
