SNAP Survey’s Overview

SNAP Survey Software is a Windows-based program for questionnaire design, publishing, data collection and analysis.

Design

1. Name the Questionnaire

Give the Questionnaire a unique name.

Check whether the name is already in use, go to:

"S" Drive: -->"Survey Central" and check the list of existing surveys.

2. Graphical Design

Design Questionnaire using Snap 8

3. QA

Test Questionnaire design.

Verify that the Questionnaire conforms to the design, and check for pitfalls in the questionnaire design.

4. Online

Publish to Development Web Server

Implementation

 

1. Implement logistics

Implement logistics for capturing data, collection, analysis and delivery of results

2. Target population

Obtain target population data if needed

3. Distribute survey

Collect data and update repository

Retrieve flat file from Production Web Server, load it into Snap 8 and update the repository via Snap 8 -> Database Link
