The Institute of American Education at the Vietnamese-American Vocational Training College is the largest overseas provider of BC accredited programs in the world.
 
VATC was founded in 2000 to offer English language studies, in 2007 received a license to offer vocational-technical training to students in Ho Chi Minh City and throughout Vietnam.
 
In 2008, VATC began offering English courses to prepare students to enroll in Broward College Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees.  
 
In 2011, IAE was created to host VATC's SACS-COC-accredited Broward College A.S. degrees in Business Administration, Hospitality, and Computer Science in state-of-the-art facilities in downtown Ho Chi Minh City.
