Web-Conferencing
Solutions
The
Instructional Technology Department is supporting
the use of a Web-based conferencing solution to assist
realtime, collaborative learning through applications
such as Wimba. These tools enables audio, video, application
sharing, and content display, enables instructors
to add important elements of interaction that cannot
be provided in a purely text-based course. Additionally,
the technologies are being integrated into BC's learning
management system, and also provide a means of creating
instructional content for podcasting.
