Talent and Culture provides employment verifications for current and former employees.

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
  • Verification of Teaching Experience
  • Verification of employment for mortgage lenders, banks, apartment complexes and others who may need proof of your employment, income or date of hire.

Data Security

The security of applicant data is a top priority for Broward College. We employ several measures to ensure the integrity and security of our applicant information, including:

  • The site is protected with a Secure Socket Layer, which offers 128-bit encryption of all data.
  • Applicant passwords are never displayed to Broward College employees.
  • Certain applicant information is not available to hiring departments and will only be visible to The Office of Affirmative Action, such as gender, ethnicity and veteran status information.
  • Data is stored at a restricted-access facility. 

Broward College Social Security Number Collection Statement

Broward College recognizes that an individual’s social security number is a unique form of identification that can be utilized to obtain sensitive information regarding that particular individual. However, Broward College must collect social security numbers under certain circumstances in order for the College to be able to properly perform its duties and functions as an educational institution and in order to ensure that such duties and functions are performed accurately and efficiently. Due to the sensitive nature of an individual’s social security number, the College provides the following statement regarding the College’s collection of social security numbers.

Broward college collects your social security number only for the following purposes:

  • Identification and verification
  • Background checks
  • Billing and payments
  • Payroll administration
  • Garnishments
  • Data collection, reconciliation and tracking
  • Benefits administration
  • Tax reporting
  • State and federal educational and employment reporting
  • Administration of federally funded financial aid programs
  • Administration of student services programs
  • Vendor applications
  • Independent contractors
