Executive Director, Marketing
Don Cook joins the Broward College team as the Executive Director of Marketing & Strategic Communications. In this role he will be responsible for linking the innovation, passion and thought leadership of the Broward College team with our community and student-focused business units by building the brand, creating awareness and advocacy, and enhancing the student experience.
Don previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Learn.com, a successful Learning Management Systems company serving academic institutions, government agencies and Fortune 500 organizations. At Learn.com, he helped market and launch over 300 online universities. The company was acquired in 2010 by Taleo Corporation for $125 million. Most recently, Don served as co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at iCare.com, the healthcare industry’s first cloud-based electronic health record for hospitals.
He has also served the community as a board member of the Broward County Humane Society, and has mentored youths as a member Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County.
Don has a BS in Business Management from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
