Becoming A Member

You may ask yourself – how do I become a member?
The Mu Mu Chapter has two prerequisites:

You have completed at least 12 credit hours toward a degree.

You have a cumulative 3.5 GPA at the time you become a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Orientation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2001 at 12:30pm and at 6:30pm in Building 9, Room 227. You are invited to attend either orientation session. At the orientation, you will learn about the Mu Mu Chapter and Phi Theta Kappa – some of the things we do and recognition programs we initiate. After orientation, your application and life time membership fee ( $ 75.00 ) are due in Phi Theta Kappa office ( Building 1, Room 171 )by Monday, April 2, 2001. The Mu Mu Chapter induction ceremony will be held on Friday, April 6, 2001. Induction is a formal ceremony where each new member receives his or her membership certificate. After induction, you will be an official member and involvement in the organization is voluntary.

* Orientation and Induction are not required but are highly recommended.
