What is the Career Center?

The Career Center is a centralized office staffed by BCC professionals who will assist you with your career and employment needs. We are your guide to career advisement, job search techniques and strategies, career information, job placement assistance, and internships.

What are the Career Center hours?

We are open Mon.-Thurs. from 9am-6:45pm and Fri. 8am-3:45pm. If you are interested in career counseling, please call 954-201-6528 to schedule an appointment.

Do I have to be a BCC student to utilize career services?

The Career Center is open to BCC students, alumni, and community residents. However, career counseling and job placement assistance is reserved for BCC students and alumni only.

Do you offer career assessments? What is the cost?

Yes, we offer 4 career assessment programs (FOCUS,SIGI,Choices Planner, and Discover). All programs are FREE to BCC students and alumni. Click here for more info.

How do I find out about employment opportunities?

Employers contact Career Services daily seeking to hire BCC students for a wide variety of positions. Simply click on JobTrack to access hundreds of open full-time/part-time positions.
Do you offer resume assistance?

Yes, we do offer resume assistance to BCC students and alumni. The Career Center has a variety of materials and software regarding resume writing. Additionally, you may schedule an appointment to have your resume reviewed by calling 954-201-6612. Resume review appointments are open to BCC students and alumni only.
