Weekend College

Weekend College offers a wide variety of courses on Friday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons for busy people who are on the go. If you have weekday and/or weeknight commitments that make it difficult for you to attend regularly scheduled weekday classes, Weekend College may be a good way for you to make progress toward completing your degree.

Session III is a shortened academic term that is 12 weeks long. Regular academic terms are 16 weeks long. Each Session III course has the same number of classroom contact hours as a regular, sixteen week-long course, consequently Session III class meetings are longer in duration than those of regular term classes. Session III course content is equivalent to content taught in regular term courses.

Session III courses begin four weeks after the regular academic term begins. They are a good choice for people who prefer an accelerated schedule or who wish to register for classes after the regular term has begun. Session III courses are offered on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

You can pick up a course schedule at any BCC campus, or go to BCC's Online Course Schedule for a complete electronic listing of all courses offered.
