Message from the Dean of Business Affairs

It is a pleasure to welcome you to Broward College North Campus. The Business Affairs office prides itself in contributing to our students' achievement by ensuring that our facilities are environmentally safe, clean, and properly maintained. We want a Campus that students, faculty, staff, and our diverse community are excited to identify with.

The Business Affairs office performs a wide range of administrative and operation functions:

Our staff works tirelessly to meet the needs of our students, faculty, staff, and the community to ensure that your experience at North Campus is an enjoyable and memorable one. We are committed to improving our infrastructure, in order to provide exceptional customer service to you.

Ms. Cheryl Baran (cbaran@broward.edu) and her staff at the Cashier Office assist students in paying their tuition and fees. In addition the staff is courteous, knowledgeable and understands the individual needs of students.

Ms. Cheryl Fields (cfields@broward.edu) is the Construction Projects Administrator coordinating and managing all new construction, remodel and renovation projects for the North Campus.

Mr. Donald Walden (dwalden@broward.edu) and his staff are charged with operating the Omni Auditorium, a 2000+ multi-purpose facility. The Omni not only provides an excellent venue for campus activities but also serves as a full service rental facility for external agencies and community events.

Lt. Elijah Brown (ebrown@broward.edu) - Campus Safety (954-201-2229) and his staff of officers help provide a secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors as well as ensuring the security of our facilities and equipment.

Ms. Judy Srygler (jsrygler@broward.edu) provides leadership crucial to the physical environment of the campus and the well-being of students, faculty, staff and visitors in her role overseeing the following areas:

• Lawn Maintenance and Custodial Services - Ms. Judy Srygler (jsrygler@broward.edu) coordinates with lawn and housekeeping service contractors to provide a clean, sanitary and well-kept campus environment.
  
  
• Maintenance - Mr. Camron Kyle (ckyle@broward.edu) and his staff contribute the important trade skills needed to keep the facilities and infrastructure of our complex campus environment attractive and operating properly.
