| Welcome to BCC Child Development Center, a campus which has opened its doors for enrollment, September 1, 2005. Ah! Our center is now accredited by A.P.P.L.E.
This Center is located on the BCC Campus. Here, we enjoy the peace and relaxation of an ideal environment.
This facility is managed and operated by Assistance Inc., with Dr. Rosa Lawson as President and CEO.
The Center has the capacity to serve 120 students ranging from 15 months to five years old. The Center has accommodation for both children from the community as well as the children of the immediate students of BCC South Campus.
*The Center Hours are 7:00 A.M- 6:00 P.M.
Registration
There is an annual, non- refundable registration fee of $50.00. This is due at enrollment. A late fee is assessed after the closing time at 6 P.M.

VPK
The VPK (Voluntary Pre- Kindergarten) is a free school Readiness Program that is sponsored by the Government. Students must be four years before the beginning of the actual school year- for them to be counted eligible for the program.
The program is offered during the school year as well as during the summer.

BCC Child Development Center is a great place for children to learn, play, grow and be nurtured in an environment that is safe and enhances the total development of our children. At BCC Child Development Center, the teachers understand and work towards the needs of the children as well as helping them to build self-esteem and positive feelings.
A variety of hands- on activities are encouraged in order to promote active and constructive learning. Most of our activities are introduced through Learning Centers. This gives children the opportunity to experience many areas of interest such as:

We also work in collaboration with Broward County Library System to provide monthly activities for our preschoolers. Such activities include story- time and art.

The Parent Support Program
This is an avenue of support that is opened to all parents. Here, parents can meet together with a Parent Support Program Coach to share information, plan activities or even to enjoy a few minutes of socialization.
Our parents are encouraged to visit our center and to observe and participate at their convenience. However, our “State-of-the-Art” observation areas that allow parent the freedom to observe their child’s classroom without disturbing the classes’ daily routine.
