Securing Financial Aid

If you qualify for financial aid, there are a number of federal and state grants you may apply for that will underwrite your education in full or in part. The college office of Financial Services will be glad to assist you in targeting and obtaining any and all available financial aid.

Scholarships are available and awarded to students on the basis of academic merit, need, or exceptional talent at Broward Community College. You must be enrolled at least halftime to be eligible for most institutional and Foundation Scholarships.

Some of the Scholarships that may be apply for are:

• The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship
• The Florida Medallion Scholars Award
• The Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship Award

Additionally, The BC Foundation awards many types of scholarships through the charitable gifts of individuals, corporations and other Foundations.
