POP-UP BLOCKER: BC's online course software uses small browser windows to deliver content. Some pop-up blockers interpret these windows as pop-ups and block them. If a pop-up blocker is installed on your computer, it must be turned off before you log in to your online courses.
To disable the pop-up blocker for your computer's firewall, click the appropriate link below and read the information about disabling pop-up blockers. If there is no link, refer to the Help feature in the affected program.

  • Zone Alarm Pro
  • Google Toolbar
  • Yahoo! Toolbar
  • MSN Toolbar
  • AOL 8.0 and later
  • Safari browser
  • Microsoft Windows XP
  • ICQ Toolbar
  • Norton Internet Security

An alternative to turning off your computer's pop-up blocker is to add the online server address of https://elearning.broward.edu to the list of allowed sites for pop-ups. This can be done within the browser application.
