Passing the National Exam

Upon completion of your degree, you qualify as a candidate for the credentialing examinations for the CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist), and the RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) exam (The RRT exam has two parts). Both the CRT and RRT exams are required. Our graduates have an excellent pass rate on the national exams. The pass rate is above the national average on both the CRT and RRT exams.

There are optional specialty exams that you also qualify for. These are the CPFT(Certified Pulmonary Function Technician) Exam, and the Perinatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialty Exam.
