LEED - Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design
LEEDv3 (2009) Building Design + Construction Exam Prep Workshop
Become a LEED Accredited Professional! This certification preparation course is designed for professionals in the architecture, engineering, construction or real estate industries wishing to earn the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification in the Building Design + Construction Specialty. Course covers in-depth knowledge of green building practices and technical review of: sustainable sites; water efficiency; energy & atmosphere; materials & resources; indoor environmental quality; and innovation regional credits & design best management practices. LEED Accredited Professionals (AP) advise and participate in the design and construction of ecologically sustainable buildings.

LEED Green Associate/Introductory Course
Join the green building revolution! This workshop is an excellent introduction to the LEED rating system, what it is and how it functions throughout the design and construction phases of a project. Attendees will learn the benefits and strategies of the LEED Green Building Rating System and how the system is applied. The workshop is meant to prepare building professionals to create and present proposals, discuss and participate in green building projects, and market their expertise. It also prepares students to take the Green Associate examination, the first level of the LEED accreditation program.

LEED for General Contractors
Make green buildings your specialty! This course shows general contractors how to meet the requirements and responsibilities of the LEED documentation and project process. Learn how the LEED Rating System relates to your project role. Strategies for general contractor and subcontractor documentation and cost tracking are discussed. Some knowledge of the LEED Rating system is recommended. Differences between the 2.2 and 3.0 rating systems and an overview of the exams are provided, with a focus on documentation and hands-on involvement in the processes.

President of Sustainaissance, Bob was one of only 12 individuals chosen by the US Green Building Council to teach the LEED Technical Review Courses, today he serves alongside a handful of LEED™ Faculty authorized by USGBC to teach these courses. He currently serves as Chair, LEED NC for Schools; is Primary Author, LEED© for General Contractors and CM's; Chair, LEED© for NC 2.2 Schools Application Guide; and continues to teach technical review workshops internationally as LEED Faculty™, US Green Building Council. Bob serves as Faculty at the University of Miami teaching LEED and Sustainable Design.

As former Board Director and Programs Chair of the AIA Miami Chapter; and Chair of Advisory Council and Board Member, US Green Building Council South Florida Chapter she has a wealth of experience with the built environment and LEED strategies.
