Let everyone know what you are capable of. When you are a member of these honor societies, it speaks volumes about your academic achievement.



Honors Student Committee
Students enrolled in honors courses through the Robert “Bob” Elmore Honors Institute have a voice! Use it by joining the Honors Committee on North, Central and South Campuses. You must have either a 3.5 GPA or be enrolled at the Robert “Bob” Elmore Honors Institute.

Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education
Love teaching? Albert Einstein, George Washington Carver and Margaret Mead did. Follow their lead by joining Kappa Delta Phi, an international fellowship that’s over 100 years old. KDP membership is limited to full-time Education majors with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX)—Legal Assisting Honor Society
Be a member of the national honor society for legal assistants. A 3.5 GPA or higher is required for induction, and at least two-thirds of the program must be completed to join.

There are five annual trips to regional and international conferences with opportunities to present research and gain information on transfering to a four-year institution.
