Broward College Upward Bound (BCUB)


The Broward College Upward Bound (BCUB)  program is designed to assist 60 students at each Deerfield Beach High School, McArthur High School, and South Broward High School who want to pursue a bachelor's or associate degree after high school. 

Applications for admissions into the program are available in August/September of each year only at three high schools. For additional information please contact us.

Student Government Association

​The Broward College Upward Bound (BCUB) Student Government Association (SGA) will provide students the opportunity to foster leadership development and make their voices heard.

Parent Advisory Committee

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a committee of parents of Upward Bound students that provides advisory input on matters regarding Broward College Upward Bound participants.  



Main objectives:

1) Elect an executive committee consisting of a president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary;

2) Coordinate fundraisers for UB student scholarships;

3) Plan family activities for the three schools;

4) Donate time/volunteer; and

5) Provide feedback and ideas.



Steps to sign up

1) Sign up on the sign in sheet if you are interested.

2) Complete the application and email it to trioub@broward.edu  or bring it to our first meeting.

3) Attend our first meeting on Thursday, October 17 on Central Campus building 15 from 6pm-7:00pm.
