New Student Orientation


Congratulations on becoming a Broward College Seahawk! You are now a part of a community-oriented school that is dedicated to seeing you fulfill your dreams.

To better prepare you for the college experience, attend our Orientation sessions.  Our carefully planned Orientations will answer all the questions you have as a new student or as an international student. Sign up today to learn how to find your way around the resources you will need as a BC student.

Broward College is bringing some exciting new changes to our orientation programs. More information will be posted here shortly so please check back with us soon.

These interactive sessions focus on academic advisement and registration for your first term schedule and are mandatory for all first-time-in-college students.
  
IMPORTANT! We must have your test scores on file before you can register for an Advisement and Registration session.
  • How to Register- Students can register for an Advisement and Registration session at the Registration office on each campus (Please choose your location first to view Registration information).

    *Central Campus Students will be registered for their advisement and registration sessions at the testing Center upon completion of their placement test.

  • Dates, times, and locations- Advisement and registration sessions for each term run continuously throughout the weeks beginning the first day of open registration for that term. Summer A&R Sessions begin March 28, 2012. Morning, mid-day, and evening sessions are available.

    Exact dates,times, and locations for each campus and information on how to register can be obtained at the Registration office on each campus (Please choose your location first to view Registration information).

New Student Orientation is a fun, interactive introduction to Broward College, and centers around the theme "Finish What you Start!" New Student Orientation will be added to your schedule when you attend your mandatory Advisement and Registration session.

Reminder! All new-to-college students must attend both New Student Orientation and an Advisement and Registration session prior to enrolling in your first term at Broward College.
Non-mandatory orientation sessions for international students (students holding F-1 and M-1 visas) are offered at the beginning of each term.
