To connect to Broward College’s wireless network as a student (“BC Public”) or employee (“BC Private”), you will need:
ü Broward College email account (students) OR
ü Broward College username and password (employees)
ü Computer with a wireless networking capabilities
To determine if your computer already has wireless capabilities, right-click on “My Network Places” (or “Network”) and select “Properties.” If wireless is built in, you will see an icon for wireless networking there.
Here's how to start using Broward College's wireless network today:
For Windows 7
Click on the wireless bar located at the right hand side of the system bar, close to the system clock.
Once you click on the wireless bar, the currently available wireless window comes up. Choose “BC Public” if you’re a student or “BC Private” if you’re an employee and click “Connect.” 
Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Google Chrome, etc.) and you will be directed back to a page that looks like the one below. You must enter either your BC student email address and password or your employee username and password. After inputting your credentials, you will be directed back to your home page.

For Windows XP
Open your wireless connection properties and click on “View Wireless Networks.” 
Click on either “BC Public” if you’re a student or “BC Private” if you’re an employee. 
After choosing your network, open a browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Google Chrome, etc.). A web page will show up prompting you to enter your Broward College email address or employee username and password. Students should enter their full email address like such: email@mail.broward.edu. After inputting your information, you will be redirected to your home page.
