Supplemental Instruction Program
Planning on taking a Science or Math class?
The supplemental Instruction program (SI), an internationally recognized academic support program offered only at north campus has helped over seven hundred students succeed in historically difficult classes such as mathematics and science courses in the past five years. The majority of the SI participants surveyed, indicated that the SI program has not only helped them succeed in the current class but also has given them some important tools to help them cope with further classes. Students who attend SI earn significantly higher mean course grades than students who elect not to attend. SI participants reenroll in college at higher rates than nonparticipants. The SI program makes a positive difference in terms of graduation rate.
Consider taking a Supplemental Instruction Class (SI).
