Technical Education At BCC
Job Development & Placement

Career & Technical Education Job Developers/Placement Specialists are primarily responsible for assisting soon-to-be graduates and graduates of technical education programs find occupations directly related to their course of study.


Job developers also work with local industry and community organizations to promote workforce development projects. In addition, job developers offer employer services, conduct employability skills workshops, plan and coordinate job fairs and on-campus recruitment, and coordinate with faculty and local employers to develop internships.


Job Developers assist technical education students with:

 

• Job search strategies - Job Search Presentation


• Resume preparation


• Interviewing skills


• Finding a job/internship directly related to your course of study
