Broward Community College lists the following links for your help in specific subject areas. While each of these sites have been examined for their content. Broward Community College does not control nor maintain the sites, and therefore, students must use their own discretion when using outside assistance.

Smarthinking
Broward Community College students now have 24/7 online tutoring access! Smarthinking provides you with online tutoring services by offering real-time online tutoring and homework help for core courses and skills up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will be able to use the paper reading service and access assistance in writing across all subjects, as well as tutoring help in math (in English and Spanish), accounting, statistics, economics, and science, plus a full range of study resources, including writing manuals, sample problems, research tools, and study skills manuals. Students can access the service from wherever they have a connection to the Internet.

To access your online tutoring help, click here. on the myBCC webpage, click on the link to Smarthinking. Sign in to myBCC with your Login and password; You will now be taken to Smarthinking - your access to online tutoring.

E-tutor
This site is offered by the Broward County Public Library System. Users must have a Broward County Public Library Card (available free from any Broward Library) to use the service. This site offers help in math, science, and English courses from an elementary school to first-year college level.

My Math Lab
This service is offered to math students in selected courses whose textbooks include access to My Math Lab. If you are in a course that uses My Math Lab and you buy a used textbook, you can purchase the password needed from the bookstore. Your instructor will know if your class will have access to My Math Lab.

Factoring Trinomials
This website is designed and maintained by Mike Ohanian, Central Campus' Teacher of the Year. The site offers tips and techniques on factoring trinomials, a common problem for students of all math levels.
