Broward College TRIO Upward Bound Program is funded by the United States Department of Education to serve 240 high school students annually. Students may apply to the program as early as the end of their 8th grade year. Once students are a part of the program, they are a participant until they graduate from high school.
The program is based at the Central campus of Broward College (BC), but throughout the year assigned Academic Coordinators conduct weekly school visits to discuss and support student’s educational goals and to help them identify and achieve their full potential for excellence. The program is 100% grant funded, and all academic services and experiences are “FREE” to participants.

Broward College Upward Bound (BCUB) is a year-round, college preparatory program for 9-12th grade participants at Deerfield Beach High School, McArthur High School, Northeast High School, and South Broward High School.
