Program Benefits

  • SDSB Prime Proposers receive 100% SDB criteria point percentage in the solicitation process

  • Certified Supplier Directory provides the ability for commodities to be searched by buyers, end-users, prime contractors, and project managers
  • Specialized 'Meet and Greet' with Procurement and College departments by commodity

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Business must be geographically located in Broward, Palm Beach or Miami-Dade County to be considered eligible to participate in the Supplier Diversity Small Business Program.
  2. Business must be certified by one of the following agencies and organizations:
    • Broward County Government (Florida)
    • Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC)
    • Miami-Dade County Government (Florida)
    • Palm Beach County Government (Florida)
    • School Board of Broward County (Florida)
    • State of Florida
    • Women Business Enterprise National Council - Florida (WBENC)
  3. Submit a current certification from one of the above agencies/organizations.
    The certifications MUST be valid for at least 90 days before expiration.

Note: If the required documents are not received within 60 days, your Supplier Diversity Small Business application will be removed from the system and you will have to reapply.

Become a Supplier Diversity Small Business Participant

Broward College recognizes its responsibility within the diverse business community in which it operates and therefore, has established the Supplier Diversity Small Business Program. In order to participate in the SDSB Program, applicants are required to register in the Supplier Registration Portal and complete the application inside of the registration. SDSB Registration Process:

  2. Complete SDSB Application inside the Supplier Registration Portal
  3. Attach all supporting documentation such as current certification certificate (Note: certification must be valid for at least 90 days before expiration)
