Supplier Diversity Small Business (SDSB) Program Benefits

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Business must be geographically located in Broward, Palm Beach or Miami-Dade County to be considered eligible to participate in the Supplier Diversity Small Business Program.
  2. Business must be certified by one of the following agencies and organizations:
    • Broward County Government (Florida)
    • Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC)
    • Miami-Dade County Government (Florida)
    • Palm Beach County Government (Florida)
    • School Board of Broward County (Florida)
    • State of Florida
    • Women Business Enterprise National Council - Florida (WBENC)
  3. Submit a current certification from one of the above agencies/organizations.
    The certifications MUST be valid for at least 90 days before expiration.
  4. Business Type Revenue Thresholds:
    Classification Annual Gross Sales Average Over 3 Years
    Construction Service Firm $10 million
    Goods & Services Service Firm $5 Million
    Nonprofessional Service Firm $5 Million
    Professional Service Firm $5 Million

Note: If the required documents are not received within 60 days, your Supplier Diversity Small Business (SDSB) application will be remove from the system and you will have to reapply.

Become a Suppler Diversity Small Business (SDSB) Participant

Broward College recognizes its responsibility within the diverse business community in which it operates and therefore, has established the Supplier Diversity Small Business (SDSB) Program. In order to participate in the SDSB Program, applicants are required to register in the Supplier Registration Portal and complete the application inside of the registration. You may contact the Office of Supplier Diversity at 954-201-7824 with any question you may have.

SDSB Registration Process:

Important: Applicants are required to use the Instructional Guide to complete registration.

  1. Print/view the Supplier Registration Instructional Guide
  2. Complete SDSB Application inside the  Supplier Registration Portal
  3. Attach all supporting documentation such as current certification certificate (Note: certification must be valid for at least 90 days before expiration)

SDSB Renewal Process:

  1. Complete SDSB Renewal Application
  2. Attach certification certificate (Note: certification must be valid for at least 90 days before expiration)
  3. Submit SDSB Renewal Application and certification certificate to SDC@broward.edu
