Vice President, Advancement and Chief Development Officer of the Broward College Foundation

As Vice President for Advancement and Chief Development Officer of the Broward College Foundation, Ms. Cottle serves as the primary liaison to the Foundation Board of Directors, as well as major donor fundraising to support the College's academic programs, learning facility enhancements, and scholarships.

Ms. Cottle joined Broward College after serving nearly eight years as Senior Director for Institutional Giving & Innovation at Baptist Health South Florida where she oversaw major gifts for research, continuing medical education and innovation as well as philanthropic partnerships with local, regional, national, and international foundations, and corporate and governmental institutions. Previously, she was a strategic consultant with several Washington, D.C. firms; was Executive Director of Alabama Ballet; and Associate Vice President of Development for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.

Among her professional affiliations, Ms. Cottle is a member of Class XL of Leadership Broward and Class X of Leadership UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham). She is an active community volunteer serving on the entrepreneurship committee of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the board of directors for Pace Center for Girls Broward, the event chair of the University of Alabama Alumni Society, and the scholarship chair for the Fairchild Palms.

Ms. Cottle holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama and a Master of Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her spare time, she is an avid outdoor lover and can be found at the beach, on a bike path, or on the water nearly every weekend with friends, family, and her dog Harper.
